Join us at Pine Center for the Arts this October as we unveil a vibrant array of creativity in our open gallery exhibition, “Art Potluck.” Drawing inspiration from the cherished Midwest tradition of potlucks, we’ve invited regional artists of all ages to bring their favorite works of art to our gallery. No rules, no restrictions – just pure artistic expression. We’re thrilled to showcase the talents of 30 artists ranging from 6 to 69 years old!

Our gallery promises a visual feast for all tastes, featuring a diverse array of artistic mediums, including photography, painting, glass, fabric, and more. Throughout the month, we invite the public to participate in selecting the People’s Choice award winner! In the spirit of community and giving back, we’re also sponsoring a food drive, where we will accept nonperishable food donations for the Pine City Community Food Shelf. Your generosity will help us make a meaningful difference in our community while indulging in the beauty of art.

To kick off this celebration of art, please join us for the opening reception on Friday, October 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. We’ll be serving a delightful selection of non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, and light appetizers. The gallery will remain open for viewing throughout October during our regular hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission to the gallery is free and open to all.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through an operating grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council, thanks to legislative appropriations from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
