Finding a Permanent Home

By on September 25, 2017

For the last eight years, Pine Center for the Arts has made its home in the building at the corner of 5th St SE and 3rd Ave SE.  Our location gave us the opportunity to welcome local friends and visitors from far away through gallery openings, lessons, classes, concerts, and the Summer Arts Program.  We’ve been blessed with generous donors, grants, and volunteers who have helped us pay the rent, renovate our gallery, and create art in our community.

We are excited to announce that in 2017, Pine Center for the Arts will no longer be the renters of 265 5th St SE – we will be owners!

An opportunity to purchase our building arose earlier this summer.  Our Board of Directors took time to consider various options and decided to take the plunge into ownership.  We have a vision of our location continuing to grow, serve more area residents, and become a central hub for the various arts organizations that make our community great.

In order to complete our building purchase, we need YOU!  We have created the Brick by Brick campaign and are inviting all of our friends and supporters to help build our legacy in downtown Pine City.  You can become a Brick Level Partner with a tax-deductible donation of $1000.  Your donation will go directly to the purchase of our building and will be honored with a brick in your name displayed permanently in our art gallery.

We are grateful for all of the individuals, families, businesses, community organizations, and group who have become Partners already through our Brick by Brick campaign.  We are encouraged by your support!  There are many others who are helping to make this purchase possible – Northview Bank, Mary Kay Brautigan, Signatures Closing & Title, Steve Knight and our Board of Directors – and giving life to our vision.  This purchase is a true community effort!

If you have questions about our campaign or how to become a Brick Level Partner, please contact us at 320-629-4924 or  You can also print the flyer below and become a Partner!
